I suppose about 5 years or so back, the only multi region DVD players were from those werid brands, probably Chinese with badly written instructions. i have no idea what mine is, as in where its from but its a Centrex, thats not a widely known brand at any rate xD What's that problem you're having again? It sounds distorted and kind of echo-y

Every region 3 disc yeah =/ region 4 discs and region 2 its fine.

Unless region 3 people encode their audio differently? Doesn't make sense

saki, have you tried just changing the audio from stereo to mono? it's a long shot, but might work.

Has that happened to you before with that method remedying the problem? no, but I figured since DVDs are usually configured to either a PAL of NTSC type of screen and you need to change the settings appropriately, the same might work for sound as well xD I dunno, if something doesn't work I tend to just press buttons until it either starts working or breaks.
